Regarding your last sentence: it wouldn’t be the first time. That’s what Hemp Foods Australia originally did when we spun it off to “him” years ago. First he would buy oil and seedcake (the byproduct of pressing the oil) from us a bit above our costs and he would repackage and resell it as “not for human consumption” (due to the FSANZ prohibition on human hemp food at the time).

Later, his supply was coming from China, but the “Made in Australia” labeling never changed...

I am impressed at how scaling up has brought prices down. I recall that our cost of production of hemp oil in 2005 was around $21 AUD per liter. This can only get better as volumes rise.
