Pulse in the food processor the following:
1 to 2 cups basil leaves or mixture of basil cilantro mint and parsley or 3 tablespoons rosemary.
¼ cup olive oil truffle oil or cultured butter.
1 to 3 tablespoons anchovy paste or anchovies.
1 to 3 tablespoons pine nuts.
And ‘some’ of the following:
½ cup parmesan or other hard cheese.
¼ cup dried tomatoes.
¼ cup olives.
2 cloves garlic.
1 dessert spoon xo sauce.
1 dessert spoon scrimp sambal paste.
A squeeze or two of orange lemon or lime juice.
1 teaspoon zest.
½ teaspoon jerk paste.
A splash liquid smoke.
Serve on toast, pizza, run through pasta or with meat and seafood
