Did anyone notice the market move on the big story AAP broke today. Around the time AAP broke a HUUUGEEE(!) story about ancient snails, only for the story to be corrected and the market to fall again. Is it a coincidence?
15:21 [AAP] Unique ancient snails discovered on Kimberley islands
Scientists from the WA Department of Environment and Conservation (DEC) say abiological survey of the islands, many of which are unexplored, has so farturned up 48 species of snails that are unique to the islands.
All but three of the species have never been formally described.
Working with traditional Kimberley land owners, the scientists have so farsurveyed nine of the 22 islands they are studying to sample groups of mammals,reptiles, land snails, birds and plants.

Working with traditional Kimberley land owners, the scientists have so far surveyed thirteen [not nine!] of the 22 islands they are studying to sample groups of mammals,reptiles, land snails, birds and plants.
On this news correction the market immediately pulled back to 4,568!
Does anyone know how I can get exposure to the snail sector so I can hedge against these moves in the future? :)
