This is a good read and puts out some scenarios re CZD/Polynovo and the impact it might have on KCI.

    http://www.mysanantonio.com/business/local/article/KCI-LifeCell-agree-to-merge-operations-4854827.php

KCI are under some pressure as they seem to be highly leveraged via their owners. The profit is impacted by the interest payments that turn the trading profit into a loss, hence the merger of KCI and Lifecell in the quest for efficiency.

The business of KCI is wound dressing and relevant to CZD/Polynovo the VAC dressings.

"KCI, founded in 1976, is best known for its negative-pressure wound-therapy products, including its Vacuum Assisted Closure (V.A.C.) Therapy System."

Lifecell business, "LifeCell's products are used for breast reconstruction and hernia repair."

Now along comes Polynovo with two products that have the potential to have a negative impact on sales of the main products of KCI/Lifecell a company that can`t afford to lose revenue because of the gearing it is under.

I leave it up to your imagination as to possible outcomes which should be positive for CZD, more so with two 510ks` under the belt.

An aside, my guess is that KCI are aware of the situation and my bet is they are the ones conducting the feasibility of the hernia application and top of the list of parties CZD is currently in negotiation for the wound dressing.

BTM trial results promised for early October, good time to get set or add a few. I can`t fathom the selling atm and it looks like an opportunity.

    cheers
