I doubt any of the Liberals actually give a toss about what side of history they are on. They never gave a toss about the legality of the Robodebt scheme beyond lipservice, hell they were so concerned that they never really investigated the legality of the scheme despite the outcomes they knew it was causing. Hell, the Liberals in their recent history don't care about what side of history they are on and it's been their main issue right through the Abbott years, the Morrison years and now the Dutton years.
