@raiderup; I doubt that such issues are related to HC itself.
Issues are more likely to be internet provider related, the AFP checking up on your 'leftie' inclinations [listen for choppers] or hackers.
When I experience issues I copy what I've been typing to a desktop file, close out of HC and do a computer restart - that cuts off anyone hacking your system - sometimes the neighbour next door who's accessing your internet service to download games / porn [if it's not p/w protected].
