Extreme weather is “just weather”, once you grasp this salient fact you just might begin to understand that variable weather conditions are just a part of life.
Sure a cyclone may effect the price of bananas but it doesn’t necessarily affect the price of cucumbers or zucchini.
Okay, you may not like zucchini and prefer bananas but it isn’t a catastrophe.
In fact our environment needs (what you call extreme weather events) these storms as they’re how the world regulates and balances our climate.
Every cloud has a silver lining, you know and if you can step back from moaning about the prices of bananas going up.
You just might realise that flooding, fires or other so called disasters are just a part of a healthy ecosystem (I seriously doubt if you will but I like to be positive and believe that even the really thick people can have an epiphany).
Floods fill dams, trees being knocked over open up space for new trees to grow and fires are an integral component of many plant species in their regeneration process.
Stop sooking about everything and start embracing the positive aspects of life.
