if you understood what global warming is, and the effect of GW being climate change, you would understand that the first step is to reduce GHG emissions.

what the ABC article is about tho is the fact that despite plants gobbling up Co2, they won't grow as well as current because of the extreme weather events which destroy crops, destroy buildings, and make the climate too volatile for commercial production to keep pace with consumption.

but this is based on modelling and so its a possible outcome rather than a factual projection.

personally I disregard modelling as its prediction and climate change effects are truly unpredictable.

then i might start taking your comments seriously

but until then.....you dont get the fact that simply taxing the people will not reduce carbon by one iota

and if you knew anything about trees you would know that the hotter the climate, the more tree grow...seen any deserts on the equator?
