well, ideas that float around in cyberspace do get traction often

some of us not many years ago were talking about the use of military being unsuitable for civilian emergency response

and voila

we have a change- and government is looking to setup a purely civilian response organisation - because military say that they can’t keep up with the emergency response work and do what they are designed to do

how much did social media have to do with it?

hard to measure - but sentiment counts
