On a sunny Friday afternoon, no beers yet, quite dry
A-flipping through The West Australian, a headline caught my eye
A name that I had seen before, but not for many a year
A word not common, yet known to me, did suddenly appear
My eyes continued to read on, my reaction was delayed
Up 700 per cent, it said, after an announcement made
But where oh where, I asked myself, had I seen this name
A book? TV? The internet? I do not like this game
And then, Voila! It came to me, a shiver down my neck
A letter sent, some time ago, that sender was CommSec
A statement of my holdings, bottom shelved, this one's a dog
I was ridiculed for buying, you know nothing, you're a flog
But now my patience has paid off, the paydirt has been hit
An 8 bagger in the making, when other holders' split
The name you ask, which company, made me delirious
Well my friends, I'm proud to say, that name is Sirius.
