You can dream that tesla found a replacement to REE motors. Tesla use induction motors which are far less effective, very hard to control and much more heavy. But induction motors are the same motors used in many other applications such as washing machines, air conditioners etc. But they are useful only for AC networks and are very difficult to use in cars with DC power. All the tiny motors that move windows, wipers etc. must be from Neodimium. All the loudspeakers, earphones must be from Neodimium. Neodimioum is irreplaceable.
