Not to push the whole charting thing too far because I too am of the view that it is the fundamentals and the results of the two wells that will determine where we go from here. But...hey just for the sake of it while we wait..the pic below shows that we are knocking on the door of the downtrend we have been in since March. We crack through that blue line and one could argue that the downtrend is over. My view is that both the technical observations and of course the near term fundamental news coming our way soon suggest we are on the verge of a breakout.

Perhaps statements of the bleedingly obvious but thought I would chuck it in anyway.
