Lack of diligence to statutory requirements has serious consequences apparently.
Being suspended from trading whilst negotiating the most critical farm-in deal for the future of the company probably lessens one's position and scope to achieve the best outcome for shareholders.
On the surface, it seems to be cause and effect.
