---------------------------------- As far as Sky is concerned, it does the job of providing balanced political commentary with a variety of commentators ranging from Richo to Alan Jones - with every degree of the spectrum between covered. On the other hand the ABC commentariat all sing from the same song sheet.
A Charter? That's the whole point! Of course Sky, Nine Network, fairfax or Murdoch don't have statutory Charters. They can editorialise as they see fit. The ABC cannot because of its Charter - but it does anyway, which is why it ought be privatised.
