Salesman Rudd will go down in the history books as being the most incompetent pm ever to be elected. He and his cronies went about burning a 20b surplus within 6 months of being elected and are now hijacking the wealth of the nation's resource states in an effort to claw back the spend off as quickly as possible. If there ever was an argument against the compulsory vote, Kevin Rudd is it. In a voluntary system where only the politically astute would vote, Krudd wouldn't make the first cut. It's going to be a sad Australia that this buffoon will leave behind in his short tenure and the clean up will take decades.
