after holding UMC for near 3 years i too have sold my stock.

i have found a new home for my UMC cash, mostly in POZ, as well as a few others.

i would like to extend my sincere thanks to all the posters who have contributed to this thread over the years.
to bungy, magix, theinc, col, all the UMCers of years gone past, thank you!!
we had some fun...

the research on here has been second to none.
there was a real sense of comraderie on this thread, and it was the best thread on HC for a long time.

on a personal note, i'd like to apologise to westcott.
there were numerous times when you questioned UMC management and in my infinite patience i more often than not accused you of whinging.
turns out you were right.
lesson learnt.

to management and mowbray, it takes a certain type of moron to achieve what you guys have - the sale a multi billion dollar asset for $200m!!
your names will not be forgotten.

i still stand by my moderated post, although admittedly i should have conveyed my sentiment a little differently.

this is not my last post on UMC and i will continue to follow the story with interest.
