Yak, Hamas suffers from the same verbal diahrea (?) as the Iranian President, who really has no say in anything. But Hamas was elected by the Pallie people and should be recognised as a legit govt and given a chance- "to do what"?, you will say. Dunno, you'ld have to wait and see. Sure, Gaza was evacuated by Israel, but it is still a "no man's land" for the Pallies. The West Bank? New settlements are being built. That wasnt part of the "accord". If I was the Israeli leader, I'd evacuate the West Bank as an act of faith. Jerusalem? Curly question. That would have to be shared because of the importance of sites there to both involved religions ( oh, and us Christians might like access too, lol). I'd probably stop the harrassment of pallies at crossings and not make women give birth to their offspring in the dust, allow them to use their coastal regions for fishing and trade, keep my troops and bulldozers on my side of the border and give the pallies a few tons of seeds to make up for their destroyed olive groves. Compensation would be paid for their destroyed buildings etc, to give them a start, and a stern warning given about terrorist acts : transgress & become dust! And hopefully there would be peace! If not, what the heck, at least we tried. Too Utopian to contemplate? Probably.
