Regardless of the stock, shorting exists. My personal view on shorting is not specific to Lynas. My perosnal view is that shorting is false economy. Full stop. In my opinion your comment reflects a victim mentality. Lynas shorting has been circa 200m give or take a few for as long as I can recall or as long as I bothered to check from time to time.
I honestly don't care. It has no bearing on Lynas operations other than an after the fact correlation (e the operatings are "crap" that's why it got shorted".
If Lynas was 99% short instead of 10% short would that get qualified product to customers quicker or slower?
Question: Did you buy into a business or did you buy the stock with the ticker symbol "LYC"?
It's very easy to see fro mteh Thumbs up (metaphorical high 5) that some posts get and that mine dont get (really coudlnt care less) that people are not interested in the reality of their circumstances or why things are the way they are. Nor are they interested in the fact that Lynas is a BUSINESS. A business that has business issues worthy or discussion, congratulation, and criticism.
Instead it's:
1. The evil shorters 2. pumpty dumpty 3. Go Lynas Go!!!!! 4. Poor me I got screwed by management 5. Rusty pipes 6. Non-dislclosure this that or the other
