Bugger 'em - Course of Sales shows bots giving ALK a right old workover. Every time there are some buy trades, they are immediately followed by one or two tiny sell trades at 0.5c lower. And this is continuing to push the SP ever downwards.
Very disheartening - again.
And there is a difference between just selling, and short-selling. And these look very much like shorts being executed by the bots. The ability to walk and push the price down makes shorting a self-fulfilling prophecy and a guaranteed win for the shorters.
Bastards...!
Shorting should be banned, like it is now in Spain and Italy - they banned it a couple of nights ago, for a period of 3 months, to "stabilize the markets". Which is tantamount to admitting that shorting de-stabilizes the markets.
