Using past time frames as a benchmark is a reasonable approach. However, previous submissions were far more complex than the current one with only minor changes. In addition, there was a Xmas and New Year brake with previous EALB decisions, though I must admit, I am not familar with Malaysian public holidays.

I guess what it boils down to is what priority does AELB give to LYC submission. What is AELB's work load at the moment?

Given that the TOL is far more a political issue now than before, I am pretty certain this submission won't be treated just like every other application.

1.)If Najib's plan is to grant TOL ASAP to de-risk the LYC issue before election, I am sure somebody will tell somebody to put in some extra hours to get it done quickly.

2.)If they take longer than previous submissions, we can assume that Najib has a different strategy...
