    Existing holders who dont wish to increase or reduce their holdings can sell on market for 26.5 or 27c and buy into the SPP at 26c and lock in a small profit. Yes its a very small profit after brokerage but its risk free. So upward pressure on the SP may be getting capped by small sellers undertaking this arbitrage.

    Personally, I probably won't sell any shares and will take up 5000 in the SPP.
