Is the first field since Santos's Mereenie to have its crude loaded onto a tanker & taken to the mkts.
Who would have thought that it would happen, certainly not me after seeing the last M'nee well in late 90's for Magellan-STO JV. So its a job well done by Team Central.
Will b interesting to see the data on oil quality & API density.
More imp. how much will the costs b ($15-30/bbl should b acceptable via roadtrains) & any offtake agreements.
Need 6 more of these drilled in a radial pattern frm the same pad or whatever Dalton deems is right frm a well-spacing perspective.
So lets hope the 3D-seis reveals the extent & structural closure on this puppy.
