Would MEO call a trading halt before the decision has been made?

The board have probably met already (last weekend?) and for a deal such as this would have their legal team look over the final agreement. This would have been sent to the MEO board for a final check. Now MEO are putting it together for the ann, one way or another.

For there to have been so many delays I doubt very much whether it will be a rush job now.
