From April to June Lynas and Molycorp dropped over 20%! I made a nice profit shorting both Lynas and Moly.
The Dow dropped 7% and only recovered very recently. Trust me, the Dow will be below 10k by next year, especially in real terms against gold. Gold has only dropped about 5%. Gold will increase more because the US dollar is on its death bed.
For Lynas, 11 recommendations, if they all must be addressed before opertaional license is approved, is bad. Don't get me wrong, I want to go long Lynas now. Lynas has great future. I have been long before. But this news is not good.
If you are green now, you should sell at the open and make some profits. If you are red, hold, because Lynas will recover, if they can satisfy most of the recommendations. However, 11 recommendations is a lot and 1 year delay in mining usually means 2 year delay.
