but its scary how much of it resembles the current situation, what was done to try and "fix it" and what the end result was

there is absolutely nothing I have seen that suggests the end result isnt going to be similar

politics is in control of those who are least likely to pay taxes in the future and who will benefit the most by maintaining the welfare state

and the media and ambitious politicians will remain complicit

look at what happened in Greece and the attitude of Greeks? "we have nothing to lose how worse can it get"

well if Germany leaves the euro the currency will crash, i see that as the only solution for the stronger states
