I read part of your comment in Rak's post.
Read between the lines Showman.
Nothing will be spent in Angola. After years of doing nothing even the Angolan partners eventually tire of the bull that is being fed to them.

Mr. Africano now has less clout in Angola than I do. Even as Minister for mines he was not able to get Longonjo running nor Cachoeiras. He is impotent there now. Have a look at the article link below. The Angolan's were really hopeful to get a mine going BUT have been fed a CVI raspberry instead.

Why do you think CVI started to talk about Nigeria, and now South Africa. They have more chance of doing something in South Africa than Angola ..... but won't really do anything in South Africa anyway. Goodness me! Mr. Africano is now promoting CVI success in South Africa, NOT in his own homeland.
We know the Nigerian refinery is exposed as no chance.

Angola Announce Next Year Copper Mine Exploration in Huambo Start

The provincial director for Industry, Geology and Mining of Angola’s Huambo province, said Tuesday that as of 2009 the “Discovery Grupo” company would mine copper in the districts of Longonjo and Ukuma.

Manuel Chieque told news agency Angop that surveying and prospecting work had already been carried out across an area of 2,000 square kilometres, and the next step was to start mining the copper.

Chieque told Angop that mining copper in Huambo province would drive the emergence of industries to produce electric cables. Chieque also noted that there were projects underway in Huambo for surveying and prospecting mercury and diamonds.

The geology and mining sector in Huambo is currently restricted to sand quarrying and setting up quarries to produce aggregates for the construction industry.
