    And there's a reason those roads are not flat, cannot handle large loads and require continual labour-intensive maintenance.

    I daresay that with the same level of investment that goes into those stone roads, our 'modern' roads will easily outlast those roads of yesteryear.

    But don't let that get it the way of a good meme.
