    re: re:will it end with a whimper/bang?- hanrahan Hi Dub. I find that if I'm patient I can buy proof gold coins at abt spot + 10-15% which is good for what you get. Much harder to buy silver tho. 1oz UNC Kangaroos go for twice spot although I got some Cuban Libidos (?) at abt US$5 each. Bought 5 so postage was ok. Being Cuban the yanks didn't seem to bid on them.

    I think of them as an insurance and small denomination, easily recognisable coins would be highly sought after. If I don't need the insurance the grand kids will like them. (If I haven't spent them myself LOL)
