News Corp Eyeing Looksmart?

Good article on Rupert Murdoch's News Corp shopping for a search engine to build their own portal. This makes sense, FoxNews can provide news and stockmarket coverage, and they just need to pick up a search engine, email and start page and you have a portal. There really is nothing wrong with Looksmart's Wisenut engine, they just need to run the spider more often to keep it updated and growing. Plus, Looksmart already has their own PPC infrastructure in place. It could work if that is what Murdoch is looking to buy.
