Dogs is indeed awesome and undervalued. Many great Floyd riffs really - Money, Wish you were here, Have a Cigar, numerous others i cant think of right now...
I strongly believe the vast majority of great riffs came during the golden ages of rock. For example:
Hendrix - Hey Joe, Voodoo Chile, Purple Haze Cream/Clapton - Sunshine of Your Love, Cocaine, Layla Deep Purple - Smoke on the Water!! Black Night Black Sabbath - Paranoid Gary Moore - Still Got the Blues Zeppelin - Immigrant Song, Whole Lotta Love
I missed many riffs by these artists due to it being late at night, and i could just go on forever, but you get the idea :) Long live rock n roll!
