I don't see why KGL dont hold a meeting alongside the government in the village where they address each environmental concern.
At the end of that they can put one simple question forward: "Do you or do you not want a mine developed 2.7km away that will create 450 jobs and generate wealth for each of you individually and for the village as a whole?"
Money talks IMO so if a guy in the village knows he can earn 2 or 3 x what he is now within a yr by getting a job at the mine he would be stupid to say no.
