dmorgz, I missed that.
I guess there are three options available to the gov:
1. Approve the mine
2. Reject the mine
3. Delay and form a "committee" to review the mine
If the vote is in fact today then I guess that could have explained the buying/support over the last few days as the reward of approval would far outweigh the risk of non approval IMO
