Taldybulak Levoberezhnyi gold deposit development estimated at $164 mln
Bishkek (AKIpress) - The cost of development of the Taldybulak gold deposit is estimated at $164 million, reported Tazabek.

This project has been included into the list of 40 national projects of the Medium-Term Development Program 2012-2014.

The project is expected to be implemented during 2014-2030. 499 million som in tax receipts (royalties including) are expected from the project.

Kyrgyz government includes Jerooy gold deposit development into list of 40 national projects
Bishkek (AKIpress) - The Kyrgyz government included development of the Jerooy gold deposit into the list of 40 national projects of the Medium-Term Development Program for 2012-2014.

The overall cost of the project is $205 million. The funding sources were not indicated.

The project will be implemented during 2014-2025. The planned tax receipts are expected in the amount of 340 million som (including royalty) and 274 million som from bonus.

Vice Prime Minister for Economy and Investments Joomart Otorbaev is responsible for implementation of this project at the instruction of Prime Minister Omurbek Babanov and is member of the working group for development of the new subsoil legislation.

The Bishkek city court will consider the claim of the CJS Jerooyaltyn on March 12. The Jerooyaltyn seeks to cancel the decree of the government on annulment of the license for the Jerooy deposit development. The lawsuit bars the State Agency for Geology and Mineral Resources from announcement of the competition for development of the deposit.

The Supreme Court canceled the ruling of the Bishkek city court on February 2. Thus, the State Agency for Geology and other government agencies are prohibited to undertake any actions with regard to the Jerooy deposit during the lawsuit.
