Ok so who wants a laugh,

For a 100 million years trees, greens etc have rolled over producing coal in the ground. It is bad and dirty apparently you have to mine it etc disturbing the ground and natural environment.

2024 someone dreams up the idea to cut down trees and make pallets to produce power disturbing the environment in a controlled manner.

Same thing just 100 million years apart.

The question is which will be cheaper digging up coal processing it to make thermal coal for power or growing plantation timber cutting it down and producing pallets. Which will be better for the environment. Will need a lot of pallets to do any good out of it.

Last question, has the world gone mad.
