My memory is fading. It was a guy named George. Can't remember sirname. On reflection, he may have been a geo. Its
about 40 yrs ago as you would know. I remember a photo of
market board 'markers' crying as they updated prices on the
Melbourne boards leading to newspaper speculation that some
of them had been burnt speculating on Tasminex. Also remember
a guy telling me he had just become a millionaire but was no longer because the shares had dropped in price. He then offloaded all he owned,
he said the pressure was killing him, he had no idea how
many he had sold at any given time. He was always on the
phone to his broker to check how many had been sold. He was giving sell orders for several different holders. Chaos, and one individual was pestering him to provide cover for shares
the individual had short sold and was scared to death he had
stuffed himself financially. This guy actually said to me
that he wished he had never heard of Tasminex, LOL.
