Actually been quite interesting how this story evolved. Still trying to see how it all morphed but seems it all stems from an article on the BBC website. Originally based on UN press release, and originally published as released, it was subsequently changed at the behest of an activist that opposes global warming theory. So the information released by the UN was actually manipulated by a reporter. Not even BEFORE it was published but afterwards.
Now we have a fear campaign that is sending us into a far worse scenario of a solar hibernation that will send us into oblivion quicker than any global warming propoganda ever suggested.
However it would seem that there is consensus among scientists that we do have global warming and that greenhouse gases can contribute to climatic variations.
I am not sure there is consensus on what impact man's contribution to greenhouse gases actually is though, nor the role c02 emssions play. Personally still trying to sut through crap from both sides on that.
The evidence though that we are cooling seems to stem from some vague and unknown people who make claims to be scientists and also claims for funding...as you would.
The reasons given you must believe this few contrarians is because it makes you a free thinker and not a sheep and because Andrew Bolt said.:)
