My thoughts are he's getting interested in uranium. Back in 2011 FMG started to apply for numerous tenements in SA (see my post below http://hotcopper.com.au/post_threadview.asp?fid=1&tid=1989419&msgno=9279555#9279555)

Is he buying into EMA to get a foot into an advanced project? Just my thoughts.

Looks like FMG is getting ready to explore these tenements located around Roxby Downs, near BHP's Olympic Dam in South Australia - see list below posted a while back.

They have commenced negotiations with Native Title parties.

The tenements are prospective for Gold Copper & Uranium, indicating their move away from a one commodity (iron ore) miner.................
