I saw GS in the video posted the other day (can't remember who posted it, thanks tho) and the idea of an aging gentleman holding on not for the money but for the win after coming so close with Hythane yrs ago came to mind.
GS founded TAS in 1979. He has been waiting over 40 years for the big time.
Nice titbit about the GDoT. No matter what craziness is sprouted on this forum, getting that mandate through a committee of 12 and the whole department where it would only take an engineer or 2 to bring up any deficits in EdenCrete's abilities to scupper the deal, was a major achievement.
Any GDOT engineer with half a brain would know the use of Edencrete was politically motivated. He/she would be committing career suicide by protesting against it's use.
Maybe another could have brought it on quicker, maybe the conservative industry, long proving time product and hostile competitor players are the cause.
A person with more knowledge of the concrete industry probably would have known the chances of Edencrete succeeding were negligible.
