What has transpired in Australian political history today is a direct result of the absolute greed and selfishness shown by the mining community, led by Andrew Forrest.
The man makes me sick to my stomach when he goes on about how much he loves this country in the media, but when it comes to the crunch, he will go so far as bringing down a Prime Minister to save his pennies!!!
Yes sure there may be a tiny bit of short term pain for these multi billion dollar companies. But get real...Australia is, and always will be the safest place to invest because of its geographical location and "so called" stable government (so long as the pigs snouts are in the trough).
Australia has missed a golden opportunity to get closer to fair value for its vast commodities from these greedy mining companies!
Our children will look back on this day and condemn us, and our antiquated political system, if you can call it that!
