Barrenjoey raids Regis Resources for Andrew Forrest
Jun 30, 2022 – 5.46pmAndrew Forrest’s understood to be seeking a 19.9 per cent stake in gold miner Regis Resources in an after market raid on Thursday.

Forrest had Barrenjoey’s equities desk seeking shares.
The broker was offering $1.48 a share, which was a 13.8 per cent premium to the last close.
It was buying for Wyloo Consolidated Investments, according to terms sent to potential sellers.
The raid was for a 15 per cent stake or 113 million shares, with Wyloo already sitting on 4.9 per cent of Regis Resources’ shares on issue.
