Something doesn't add up here, Andrew Forest pitched and all or nothing bid for an extra 15% of RRL at 1.48 when teh SP was 1.30 but the bid fell short, he could only attract 12% commitment at that 15% markup to SP. Yet the next day the SP continues to trade below the target figure he set. So why didn't he just acquire the additional 3% from the market at 1.40 (next day's trading) and save money in the process?
