Hastie must have felt like he’s in a rock or a hard place. As an MP and in ‘the know’ via SAS involvement, the conflict must be full on.
If, as he says, his testimony concludes there was rumour and gossip regarding BRS and he has testified so, as is shown in the defamation transcripts, is good to me.
By the sounds of it he’s right, there needs to be a culture change in the SAS. As for disbanding them? No. That’s not fair on all those that have done the right thing. I would have been gutted if my Regiment had been disbanded because of a few rotten eggs. Maybe in future, they, the good ones, are the people to lead the line!!
