I think its great that he had the confidence in himself to say "its me or him".

The problem is definately deep and begins in the early days. Punish all offences at all levels of sport. Dont have 2 sets of rules.

We see it in AFL all the time. A rookie gets caught drink driving and he will be castrated, but a team captain will get away with it because they need him on field.

Some teams are starting to punish all players equally with 0 tolreance. Stokes at Geelong and Lovett at Saints. But they were serious offences that the club had to act on.

We need clubs to act sooner and punish smaller misdimeanours before plays esculate out of control.
