    Hi Andrewe,

Thanks for the 10% rise. Now let me see, 90.9 plus 10% mmm that’s pretty close to being perfect I would say ! He he.

Ok, that’s the stupe outa the way, now me in a more serious mode.

I have read many of your posts. You are a very commited individual where UCL is concerned. You understand the company very well indeed. However, I do appreciate that many others do so too but I like the way you have such a good knowledge of what is going on. I have replied many times to people who ask me, ‘are there any secrets to investing ?’ My reply is usually along the lines of, ‘do your research very well, keep up-to-date with all the announcements, watch politics, watch other companies in similar fields and situations and once you have done this you’ll almost pretty well know what to expect. Bar left field events, you will know, or at least have a very good idea, that when you see an announcement notice re UCL, you could more or less likely say what is gonna be in that announcement. That’s when I believe one knows ones in command, as much as possible, of ones investment.

If you understand where I am here, then this is what has led me to believe you are in control of the UCL situation very well indeed. You know the risks, you have evaluated them very well, and if all goes according to plan UCL will be a winner. Now let’s take Rob. He’s been persevering for years. Never quite made the big one. Why not now ? The cards seem to be going well enough for him. I am not personally scared by the Iranian situation but we all need to understand it could get nasty. In any case, if Iran ‘blows up’ we could all well be dead in a week. Good times to invest because should we all survive then UCL will be the winner. (One of my ways of looking to beat the crowd !) One evaluates these odds and I am in the camp of believing Iran is not going to give us any trouble. Iran is only trying to get the best for itself and its people.

Once the ‘Iranian nervousness’ has gone away then many will be getting on board UCL. Once the financing has been arranged then it could be a stampede. Which will come first ? It should be the financing but for me I think it is only a matter of months before the Iranian problem subsides almost into oblivion. My own opinion, based mainly on Germany’s Chancelor, Angela Merke’s determination of not letting Iran become another ‘Hitler’s Germany’. Angela made such a statement recently. Now this is why I follow the politics so much when investing. I am not currently invested but have put it onto my watchlist for such times when the first money is made available. Reckon on huge dilution once the financing gets done. There will be more than one raising. Could be 3 or 4 before any ore ever gets sorted from the dirt.

    Why my mood change :
1 I believe Iran is now settling down.
2 UCL will very likely get the money and best guess is from Iranian and European backers. BUT DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT count out a big Chinese consortium getting on board and more likely CITIC anyway. Politics again – China is very much of late befriending Iran and vice versa. Who needs the metal ? Who needs the oil ?
3a The project’s better looking into the future.
3b I believe China, Vietnam (now here’s one to watch), and India will slow down soon and once we get the upturn, UCL could well be there ready to produce.
4 I believe, that should China get involved it will be initially via a big investment. Later control ? I note China’s looking at taking more control of it’s own destiny by controlling it’s own supplies.

It’s risk v reward and imo the odds seem very well balanced into positive now.

    Gosh, I’m talking myself into buying, aren’t I ?

    Now me ..

If you can help, please do .. he he . no, I’m serious, well almost ...

I don’t know how old you are but I’ll guess you’re less than I am at 57. I’m living
In Spain and love every minute of it. I have a home in Oz and love every minute
there too. Great neighbours and friends both ends. No family to speak off. Love
the missus mucho. She and I both want to end our days in OZ. I want to end my days In OZ but don’t want to give up Spain. I love my trips to France with the caravan (including one cat) each year for 6 weeks at a time. I love my 7 cats but cannot take them with me. I never give up on hope, I have conviction for what I am doing but something will have to give. ? I have spoken with my friend Clare Voyant he he ..... she sent me to her mad pschyciatrist brother in law’s second cousin’s friend of a friend. That was a wasted walk next door. The buzzard’s madder than me ! What does one do ? No funnies guys, it aint easy, I can assure you. Hel.......p !

    Be good andrewe.

    PS
Hey, that UCL and Rob may just be another HDR. Would you believe I sat with a guy on a bus from Cape Town to Windhoek in Namibia back in 1996. He was a consultant geologist. Told me back then that the West Coast of Africa was big big oil. ‘As big as Saudi’ were his words. What did I do. I checked out companies there. SASOL from Sth Africa and later HDR. What did I do. Forget all about it, that’s what ! As my dear pal long since gone used to say, you can’t buy them all ! True words. What a mentor ! Lost his all on the greyhounds. Super bloke. Love you Rup, if you’re reading this. Thanks for everything pal. fwiw his dad got murdered in London whilst his mum was still pregnant with him. He then got adopted cos his mum could’t keep him financially. Lost his first wife and 2 kids over gambling. Stayed with his partner for the next 50 yrs. My wife and I buried them both, not literally I might add. Life’s a b*tch sometimes lads. The best friend I ever had apart from mi wife and mi dog.

    sincerely all
