His big build is a disaster now with works stopped due to insufficient funds. Half finished projects and a road system that looks like Normandy Beach after the allies landed in WW2.

There will be a book written about this but I can give you a summation. An ignorant Premier thought money was free and cost nothing so why not borrow it and do stuff. A little later the shxxt hits the fan as interest rates rise under Federal Labor. So all that free money now is not free, it comes with an interest rate of greater than 6 percent.
