Andrews dumbed down the people and had scores of media workers pushing his message. In the end he timed his exit to coincidentally align with when he became eligible for his massive pension.
He shut down the State and arrested elderly Victorians sitting on park benches. He denied or couldn't recall who authorised or managed the Hotel quarantine system. This is a Premier who hides behind "I can recall". So why did he keep his job if he can't recall? Because the Unions held firm.
