That is it very much appears the full body of the much lighter weight teen was not entirely on the windscreen or on the bonnet.

There is also visible damage across the side of the front driver's side quarter panel.

As for breaking distances ... kind of irrelevant here as there is ABS now days, no skid marks and the driver claims to have not braked until after impact.

I enjoy this banter ... I'm not claiming to be right but I certainly see this different to you and do not see this a case closed like you do.
