Even the WHO, has now recanted its earlier lunacy, by saying lockdowns should only have limited use, to buy time to plan a targeted and nuanced strategy against CV..
And that was what we the suckers were told by these over inflated ego's masquerading as "leaders". We were told the "lock downs" were essential and for our own good to slow the spread of a virus that was at that point quite unknown, so the various Health Departments could gear up for the forecast onslaught of sick and dying people. Well that never happened anyway and there were hundreds of empty beds with nurses being sent home as there was nothing to do.
And then something also changed along the way and we the suckers were not told...that the lockdowns to slow the spread, had now morphed in to eradication and we were going to be locked up, fined should we dare step outside the prescribed area, until such time as the virus was eradicated.
Even now, 7 months later these dick heads have State borders shut, preventing people from moving freely as we should be able in a democracy...mind you it is Labor Governments who still have the borders of "their" States shut.
Just remember, Covid-19 did not cause a single person to lose their job, nor any business to close down. It was our dopey short sighted public servants with their knee jerk dumb decisions that has caused the economic ruin in this country.
