I get it that the Liberal Party's aversion to public transport dating back to the Kennett Era! It's deep seated stuff for people who smoke cigars, drive Lambos and send their kids to elitist taxpayer-funded privates schools.
Of course the Victorian Liberal Party's lack of project managerial expertise to build such infrastructure means that it's aghast at the prospect.
I guess we'll know in about four week's time whether or not voters have changed their minds since the May Election.
