"I dont see aged care homes in SA WA QLD or NSW TAS right now with the same issue..." Yes the other states have been very lucky so far... NSW is in trouble though and have had enough probs with aged care infections and deaths.

SA, Vic, Tas, NT and WA have all been very fortunate that the virus hasn't broken though containment and into the community. Qld was just in time and NSW only just managed to slow the community rate but are now having difficulty with eh virus re-emerging, granted from Vics escaping the raging infection.

Vic had it under control better than NSW for a time... but then restrictions were eased and Vics went out an partied - not just Eid celebrations.

Would you rather that Andrews hadn't relaxed restrictions when it was looking like it was all under control? Businesses would have stirred a revolt!

Remember all those going straight to the beach? pubs and nightclubs enjoying trading again? Family gatherings that were long overdue? Visits to nursing homes and all the restrictions forgotten? This is the cause of the Vic outbreak, not political controls.
